To use the EQUEST syringe, rotate the graduation ring, adjusting it to the weight of the horse to be treated (to the nearest 25 kg). Check that there is no food in the mouth, remove the syringe cap and introduce it orally through the interdental space. With the tip of the syringe close to the base of the tongue, press the plunger until it reaches the valve. Remove the syringe and lift the head to ensure adequate ingestion of the gel.
