INDICATIONS FOR USE Treatment and metaphylaxis of gastrointestinal infections caused by noninvasive Escherichia coli susceptible to colistine. The presence of the disease in the herd should be established before metaphylactic treatment. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD Meat and offal: calves, lambs, pigs and poultry: 1 day. Eggs: zero days. DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION To be administered in drinking water or milk. Calves, lambs and pigs: administer 100.000 IU of colistine/kg b.w./day (equivalent to 0,5 ml of product/10 kg b.w./day) for 3-5 consecutive days, in drinking water or milk replacer. The recommended daily dose should be divided by two, in case of administration the product directly into the animal’s mouth. Poultry: administer 75.000 IU of colistine/kg b.w./day (equivalent to 0,0375 ml of product/kg b.w./day) for 3-5 consecutive days, in drinking water. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special temperature storage conditions.
